  1. It's a bat. What more can I say. He's 9 and he hits the ball. Does what it's supposed to.

Bats are tricky. How heavy? How long? How much to spend? My 6 yr old just got out of T-Ball and is moving into Little League. He can go and hit balls at the park for hours. So on his birthday I wanted to get a big bucket of baseballs and a bat. I thought that would be easy. After 25 minutes or so of research on ALL the different types of bats, I picked this one. Good price, cool looking (hint, if a bat has a big word on it your kid is gonna wanna know what it says...this one is cool, and when you explain what it means it sounds cool to them) and is the perfect weight and size. He hits hard, and the artwork on the bat smeared a little. Is that a complaint? NO! Anyone who has a kid who plays ball knows that when that happens you look at him and say, "WOW man you hit that so hard you you smeared the paint on that bat!" And it makes that cool aluminum bat sound when he hits. Great bat for little guys, and probably up through age 8 or 9. Grab one.
