Product Description
Taper Ring Technology - DeMarini bats maintain a distinct weight advantage over other aluminum bats. That's because the weight is added closer to the taper of the bat and not the end of barrel to maintain the maximum sweet spot and keep swing speed at it's fastest. SC4 Alloy Barrel - DeMarini's proprietary aluminum extrusion provides a thickness tuned wall that reaches down the entire length of the barrel to create a wicked sweet spot that can stand up to each crushing blow. C6 Composite Handle - Designed with a wider weave that optimizes swing flex, this handle works as a powerful one, two punch with Vexxum's SC4 Barrel. 1.15 BPF USSSA Stamped - Approved for play in 2012 and beyond 2012 Model -10 Length to Weight Ratio Taper Ring Technology SC4 Alloy C6 Composite Thickness Tuned Half + Half Hybrid C-Grip One Year Warranty
These bats are no longer allowed in most leagues. Check with your local organizer before using. I use this in my cage. The holes that supposedly cut down on air resistance might do something if you decide to grip the bat so they're facing the right way on your swing, but I don't. I got this on closeout when they were banned.Remember, bats are sized and weighted according to a standard (inches -3 oz or -8.5 oz for juniors), so pick up any, for example, 32 oz bat and it's going to feel approximately the same as any other bat of the same specification.
ReplyDelete*This bat is illegal in High School and College leagues and probably more so check before you try to use it in a competitive league*For $40 this is a great bat for casual games and BP. The handle portion up past the holes is composite and the barrel is aluminum. It performed similar to ~$100 range Easton bats. The weight distribution is a little different than solid aluminum bats as it is "barrel heavy". But in our first few swings my brothers and I were hitting the ball 300+ feet with just some 50-60mph pitches. There is a 1 year warranty for common issues of cracking composite and if the cap pops off. I highly recommend this bat for casual use as it really can't be beat at the $40 price. It only gets 4 stars because of its limited useability. I may pick up a few more to have around.*Edit - It looks like the price on the 33-30 is now $50, still a great price. Make that $35 now, awesome price!
ReplyDeleteFantastic deal. A fraction of the original cost due to being banned by many leagues this year. Loving the purchase
