I was looking, for my son, a competitive big barrel bat with some pop that is also fairly durable. So far, this bat seems to be delivering for him. Since it is a fairly high end big barrel, the bat has a big sweet spot and the ball comes off of it very well. The bat is just slightly end heavy which has helped his swing some. His confidence level has increased in the fall season as well, due partly to his bat. He definitely hits the ball harder.Time will tell with durability. Right now, the bat has broken in well with no exterior signs of dings or dents. Since he is using the bat in the fall league, we are very careful to check the termperature and he doesn't use the bat when the temp drops below 65 degrees. Hopefully, this bat will last more than a few months. If it doesn't, I'm sure Louisville Slugger will make good on the one year warranty.
