My son had been begging for a new bat and we decided on this one. So far it has been a great investment. He is 10 and we purchased the 29/17 bat and it is the perfect size and weight for him. He is more confident and hitting better and stronger without the worry of the sting of the hard hits. Great Purchase
ReplyDeleteGot this for my son and he has used it for a full season now. I have been extremely satisfied with this bat and for the money it cant be beat. It has the exact same features (composite handle with Alloy barrel) as the new Easton S2 and S3's that are twice the price! It had good pop out of the wrapper and has only gotten better as he has broken it in. It does scuff easily which is fine with me as I hate a "slick" bat. My son is 9 and is a fairly strong kid and the bat feels very light due to the weight distribution. If you were debating between two sizes i would get the longer bat. He is due a new size and if we werent playing Travel Ball after the season I would just get the 32 inch bat - its that good. Sorry to hear about the other reviewer who had it crack. I guess there is one bad one every once in a while - my son dented a brand new full alloy DeMarini the first game this year.Approved for all Little League play - as of 2012 bat listNo USSSA stamp - not a good choice for Travel Ball as all bats will need Utrip stamp in 2013
ReplyDeleteFrom the first hit to the latest one this bat has absolutely no sting. The biggest and the best sweet spot of any bat my 10 year old has ever hit with. There is another boy on the team that uses a Vendetta bat and he chooses to use the Convert bat over it. Thank you Easton for making an affordable yet dominating youth baseball bat!!!
